KnoSho is the Youth Group of Park Place Wesleyan church. Our core mission is to Know Christ and to Show Christ...hence the name "KnoSho". It is our ambition in life, and our goal to have a blast while doing it!!
What is KnoSho?
KnoSho is the name of our Student Ministry at Park Place. It is a place for teens who are in grade 6-12 to gather for worship, fellowship, and growing to be more like Christ. The term KnoSho was created by Pastor John and is a shortened version of our vision: "To see teens who long to know Christ and show Christ." No matter who you are, or how your relationship with God is, we want you to move closer to Him, and to Know Jesus Christ even more. We are never done growing, and it is our belief that the beginning of our relationship with Christ is a heartfelt longing and desire to move closer to Him. Christ followers are also called to Show Christ with all that they say and do in their lives. This means verbal testimony as well as a lifestyle modeled after becoming like Jesus.
The Main Event
Doors to theLoft will open at 6:30pm where we will hangout and fellowship until 7:00. The Main Event features the "Sweet Awesome Video of the Week," an occasional crazy game, worship, and Biblical teaching relevant to a teen's life. We end around 8:15, but teens are welcome to hang out in theLoft until doors close at 8:30pm. Hope to see you and your friends there this fall!
Sunday Connection
Want a chance to interact with the Word and with other Christian teens? Every Sunday morning at 9:00am, head up to theLoft. Brian Bunnell leads a time for teens to explore God's Word as it relates to their life, as well as have a chance to ask questions and interact with the Biblical text and each other through the Wesley Student Curriculum guide.
